I attended a GP appointment this morning with DR Penman.
Dr Penman was amazing, she was thorough, polite and professional.
Importantly she listened and took on board what I had to say to her.
She was clear in her plan going forward and I felt reassured and confident that I had received excellent care.
Please could this email be brought to the attention of the practice manager/senior partners for recognition purposes.

I am contacting you to say how much I appreciate the service I received recently at both Earlston and Miriam. Having done an E consult on 11/8/23 I was seen at Miriam that evening. I was then given antibiotics and had an appointment with a Dr @ Earlston the following week. He was extremely thorough and ordered blood tests which I was able to have the following day (squeezed in). I saw the same Dr the following week to discuss results.
I really just wanted to show my appreciation of the wonderful service and helpful reception staff at both practices.

I needed some medical volunteering as I was planning to apply to study medicine at uni in October 2022.
I volunteered from November 21 to April 22. This was an amazing opportunity and it gave me some brilliant experiences to reflect on in my personal statement.
Birmingham University medical school interviewed me in February 2023 and this volunteering opportunity really helped me with my answers.
I was accepted in Birmingham medical school this morning. I don’t think I could have achieved this if the Miriam centre hadn’t put their trust in me.

Good morning, mum has just had a visit from the paramedic at miriam his name was gee, he was absolutely wonderful with mum , did a full mot made her feel so at ease . His manner was wonderful.. mum has a chest infection so he is ordering the abx … what wonderful service and what an amazing man who came to see mum
