Average earnings calculation for the year 2014 – 2015
All GP practices are required to declare the mean earnings for GPs working to deliver NHS Services to patients. The mean earnings for GPs working for Miriam Medical Centre and Earlston & Seabank Medical Centre for the last financial year was £40,126 before deduction of tax and National Insurance Contributions. This is the average pay for the 4 full time GPs and 6 part time GPs who have worked in either practice for more than six months.
