Public Support during Covid 19 Crisis

Miriam Primary Care Group would like to thank all our patients and the public for their fantastic support and co-operation during this critical and challenging time.

With some adaptation, we have successfully kept our GP services running including during Easter Weekend. This includes Telephone & Video Consultations, E-consults, Phlebotomy, Home Visiting and Face to Face consultation when required.

Please note that our practice services are open to patients for Face to Face consultations and we have taken every precaution to ensure all our patients and staff are protected with the right Personal Protective Equipment.

The Minor Injury & Illness Service commenced new hours of opening 8 am to 8 pm every day from 1st April 2020. Extended GP Access continues to be available each weekend and can be booked through your own practice or by ringing 0151 652 6077.

Wirral CCG has commissioned ‘GP Care Hubs – Community Covid Assessment Clinics’. Miriam Primary Care Group along with Wirral GP Federation is delivering the hub from Birkenhead Medical Building (2nd floor).

A number of individuals and organisations have supported us during this difficult time especially with donations of Personal Protection Equipment such as FFP3 & FFP2 masks, Eye protection kits, Scrubs etc. We wish to thank Martin Davies of Ace Audio Visual, John Madden of Riverside Electrical, NHS Hero Support and a number of other individuals who have supported us to ensure we have the best protection possible and assisted in delivering the on-going service.
